At the recent Somerset Fellowship Cinderella Awards, Timsbury Theatre Group enjoyed a very successful evening.

In December 2018, the group presented a well-supported Pantomime, produced by Jo Whitlock, of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. It was well received by its audiences and thoroughly enjoyed by all the cast, young and old alike. Our year’s profit was given to the charity, Off the Record.

At the awards, the group was nominated for: Most Original Costumes, Most Appropriate Props, The Pint Pot Award, (Village Hall), and Principal Girl. A Promising Young Performers’ Award was presented to Rachel Toone and Jordan Andrews. Award for Best Animal, Jon Hickes and Award for Stage Management, Peter Crooke and the Back Stage Crew. Everyone involved in this production, especially our young singers and dancers, are well deserving of the success.
