An Art Exhibition of Norton Hill School GCSE and A Level student work will be on display at Midsomer Norton Town Hall from Thursday, 4th October to Wednesday, 10th October, with an Opening Evening this Friday, 5th October, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The Midsomer Norton-based art exhibition is a culmination of dedicated hard work by the students who have expressed an amazing depth of creativity, diversity and talent.
Work by each of the 85 GCSE students and 40 A Level students who took Art exams last year will be on display. There will be drawings, prints, sculptures and paintings, all on a variety of scales and demonstrating lots of different techniques. There are a number of themes, including Nature and Landscape, Portrait and the Human Figure, and work drawn from the students' imagination.
Members of the public are invited to come along and see the brilliant artwork that students have produced. Head of Art, Mr Plant, said: "There will be something for everyone's taste, and I think people will be amazed at the quality of work, and the skill and imagination of the students."
