The counselling spaces in Midsomer Norton were recently given a makeover thanks to a generous volunteer team from Altus Ltd. The rooms on the ground floor at Midsomer Norton Town Hall were completely redecorated earlier this month by staff from a Financial Software Solutions company based in Bath.
“I’m really pleased we are able to continue supporting Off The Record, when they mentioned the space at Midsomer Norton needed some TLC we were more than happy to gather a team and materials,” said Ally from Altus. “Hopefully it will make the space more pleasurable to the team and all the service users.”
The counselling rooms at the Town Hall are managed by Midsomer Norton Community Trust and have become really important spaces for so many local residents. As well as the young people who benefit from the fantastic work by Off The Record, they are regularly utilised throughout the week by charities and community groups, supporting everyone from new families to those struggling with bereavements.
Although the current public health situation has caused the temporary closure of many public spaces, young people needing help in these uncertain times can still access support by heading to: www.offtherecord-banes.co.uk/online-support
