Last week's Mystery Photograph featured Cameley Church. Thank you to Somerset Coalfield Life for providing another brilliant photograph.

Well done to the following for guessing Cameley Church correctly; David Swift, Jennifer, Mike Ford, Marian Stock.

Thank you to Eric Brain who said: “Last week’s Mystery Picture in The Journal totally defeated me but (hopefully) I recognised this week’s at first sight!

“It is Cameley Church looking South East from outside of Cameley Lodge or Cameley Church Farm cottage. I suspect it is a “Collinson” postcard with the logo of the L (for Letty) superimposed on a C for Collinson having been erased. The pony and trap is a clue, as Letty being a pioneer photographer from the turn of the 20th century, she (and her large camera and tripod) was driven around the area in a hired trap to take her pictures.

“Consequently this often forms a focus of her scenes as it does here.

“I have not seen this picture before despite having quite a Collinson collection and my article on Letty Collinson published in “Five Arches” issue 93 a few years ago.

Can you guess where we are in this week’s Mystery Photograph?
