St John’s Church in Peasedown St John is set to continue with its active programme of children’s holiday clubs with a special treat just after Easter in the school holidays.

On Monday, 4th April and Tuesday, 5th April, all primary school-aged children are invited to take part in SJs Does Easter – two days of games, craft, fun, Christian teaching, and to find out about the Easter story.

Rob Bubyer, the children’s pastor at St John’s Church, is organising the event. He said: “This is the next of our children’s holiday clubs this year, with more lined up in 2016. We have two action-packed days prepared that will not only include Easter fun, games and an easter egg hunt, but will also remind children what the real meaning behind the occasion is, SJ’s Does Easter will give children a biblical understanding of Easter.

SJs Does Easter only has fifty spaces available, which are likely to fill up fast, so parents/carers are being encouraged to register their children online as soon as possible at: www.stjsgroup.church/holidayclub

The holiday club will run from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in St John’s Church, Church Road, on both Monday, 4th and Tuesday, 5th April.

Children will need to bring a packed lunch to the event. There is also a registration fee per child, per day. If cost is an issue, then please get in touch via email: [email protected]ch or phone: 01761 300410.
