Last Friday, Emilia Iandolo, owner and Head Therapist at Mowhay, a luxury holistic treatment and beauty centre, invited guests to attend an exclusive Open Day at their newly-designed premises at Manor Farm, Chilcompton.
With its founding motto to ‘unwind and refresh’ clients, whether it be soul-restoring holistic treatments or more traditional grooming services, Mowhay certainly proved it can do both, as they wowed guests from their new and expertly-designed location.
Now based in the Granary building at Manor Farm, guests will have access to even more beauty and grooming options. The added space and tailored design of Mowhay’s new home means visitors can expect a wider variety of services, from spa day options to increased beauty workshops.
By the afternoon, guests were able to get a taste of the heavenly holistic experiences on offer through complimentary head and shoulder massages delivered by Louise Dunsmore, Mowhay’s resident expert in international massage techniques.
Caroline Ross, Mowhay’s holistic teacher, sank guests into deep levels of relaxation through an additional series of massage demonstrations. Using the soothing aromas of the spa’s top quality natural product, Voya, guests were able to take samples home and try it for themselves.
For those into beauty tips and grooming, Samantha Witcombe, Mowhay’s lash expert, introduced guests to the latest in eyelash enhancement technology. Sipping on Italian bubbly, they also enjoyed group make-up workshops by Mowhay’s guest beauty therapist, Anisa Farmer. From the award-winning and naturally sourced make-up brand, Jane Iredale, Anisa also led one-to-one skin analysis sessions, make-up demonstrations, and discussions about skin health and supplement programmes.
After a day of beauty knowledge, treatments and relaxation that left guests stumbling home in a trance, it looks like Emilia’s dream to create a centre for bodily well-being in the West is already a success.
