Councillor Heather Clewett, Stowey Sutton Parish Councillor and Chair of the Chew Valley Area Forum, said: “The Forum regularly discusses topics such as climate emergency, transport and access to services as well as the opportunities these provide to increase the resilience of rural communities. We warmly welcome anyone with an interest to join the event online and get involved.”

Councillor Kevin Guy, Leader of Bath & North East Somerset Council, said: “The area forums held across Bath and North East Somerset are an important way for everyone to share information across the area and address local issues. They are also a chance for you to have your say about the public services that affect you and your community. I’d encourage as many residents as possible to attend – we want to hear from you.”

Area Forums are open to all and bring together public services, local organisations and residents to improve local engagement, encourage people to talk to each other and share their skills and ideas. There are five forums in Bath and North East Somerset which are supported by the Council.

You can find more information and meeting dates for all the forums on the council website.
