Modern increasing populations will always create waste; it’s what we do with that waste that matters and how we can integrate it into our lives.
At next week’s Science in Radstock talk, local entrepreneur and adventurer, Craig Shaw, will explain how his career has influenced his understanding of micro-biology and how he developed the XO thermic technology process to recover energy from both organic and mixed waste streams.
Craig has worked with many of the world’s largest companies in both the hospitality and food production sectors. He will share how larger companies are tackling plastics and introduce us to research that is ongoing to resolve the plastics legacy.
The talk starts at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 15th October at Radstock Working Men’s Club. Science in Radstock is about ‘popular’ science; the talks are organised by Radstock Museum volunteers and everyone is welcome.
