Local families from across the area joined Radstock Museum on Monday for the annual half-term fossil hunt at the old Writhlington Colliery batch.
Over one hundred people attended the event to uncover lots of fossils of horsetail leaves and ferns, with fossils found on site thought to be around 150 million years old! The hunt was organised by Anny Northcote, museum volunteer, assisted by a team of volunteers.
