We are very excited to be unveiling our completed ‘Gardening for Children’ project this Sunday, 16th July and invite the people of Westfield to come along and join in the fun at our Open Day from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Throughout the last six months, we have worked hard to fund and build the raised beds which will be used exclusively by children in the area. It is a wonderful way of getting them outdoors, enjoying fresh air and learning about gardening and being able to eat the fresh fruit and vegetables that they have grown themselves. There are still some raised beds available, so it is not too late to be involved.

We will be hosting a free barbecue and bouncy castle for all to enjoy and there will be side stalls, too.

At 12 noon, we will be welcoming the Chair of Bath and North East Somerset Council, Cherry Beath, who will be planting a tree to commemorate the opening.
