Police were called to a disturbance in Nightingale Way, Midsomer Norton, at about 12.30pm on Sunday May 3. Firearms officers were deployed due to the nature of the incident. An air weapon was recovered and a man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent.

He was later released without charge with no criminal offences identified.
