Westfield Voices were in good voice when they visited Chilcompton Golden Hour Club this month.
This was the first engagement for the choir in two years and despite rehearsing wearing visors, they presented a varied programme under conductor, Ruth Horler. Songs were interspersed with amusing poems. Although without an accompanist, the choir’s renditions with recorded music made for a very enjoyable evening for members. They were thanked by President, Shirley Obern.
At the next meeting on Tuesday, 8th March there will be tall tales from the Mendip Story Teller.
Visitors will be welcome at 7.30pm at Chilcompton village hall. Marlene Pickford
