Radstock’s Ward Councillors have appealed to the Town Council to work together on monitoring the success of the new parking restrictions in Radstock prior to lobbying B&NES.
It was reported that whilst the four hour limit was helping a turnover of spaces, it was not helping staff who work in the town, who need much longer parking, nor deterring unofficial park and ride. Cllr Deidre Horstmann said that there was an urgent need for a long stay car park somewhere within the town for workers.
