Midsomer Norton & District Carnival Association will be bringing Father Christmas to a street near you in the next few days.

The Association, which will be collecting for next year’s Carnival and other local causes, announced the news at the end of last week.

The tour began on Saturday and continues this week, visiting the Pinewood Estate on Wednesday (16th December), Welton on Thursday, the Charlton Park estate on Friday, Westfield on Saturday and Sunday, Writhlington on Monday, 21st December and Peasedown St John on Tuesday, 22nd and Wednesday, 23rd December.

The Carnival Association will be unable to knock on doors this year, so please listen out for them and ensure that you maintain social distancing. They will stop where they can but may not be able to visit the usual side roads that may previously have been reached.
