In a recent letter to The Journal, one resident made a number of suggestions they believed would improve Midsomer Norton's High Street. Another letter has been sent to us this week with more ideas to level up the town centre.

Adding to Alun de Pughe’s letter, as a Welton resident for over thirty years, my wife and I have seen of late a rapid decline in the needs of shoppers with regards to the types of shops that are or are not available anymore.
In the light of M&Co closing its doors soon, do your readers agree a Primark in its place or a M&S outlet would bring back custom to the town?
Also for the young to middle age generation, an exclusive snooker club where the previous Argos was, would be helpful as there’s very little in the way of day and night time activity.
