I went to the Midsomer Norton Town Council meeting on the 18th  September where the Welton Bag site was discussed.

It looks as though the planning application is complicated, and is at stalemate so that no outcome will happen in the next five to ten years.  

Station Road will continue to carry heavy lorries for that time.

Would it not be better to widen and strengthen the small bridge across stream on Northmead Road to take heavy traffic and prevent it using Station Road?
