One resident from Farrington Gurney thinks the plans for the Somer Valley Enterprise Zone need to be reconsidered for those who do not wish to travel by car.

Having just looked at the plans for the Somer Valley Enterprise Zone, I noticed that there is no ongoing link to Farrington Gurney.

It seems crazy to spend millions on new business sites and have no link for the potential employees in Farrington to get there without using a car.

When will BathNES Council/Norton Radstock Council come to their senses and fund a simple link to this village.

As an experienced cyclist I tend to avoid this road if I can because of the heavy traffic on the route. The one mile journey from Farrington to Tesco would also be much more attractive to walkers and cyclists if a path was built.
