The course was in great condition and looking beautiful. The winners, with 77 points, were Janice White, Erica Klim and Emily Draper. Alongside the Wells Ladies’ Spring meeting was an Individual Stableford competition for the Carole Nicholson Cup. Carole was a member at Wells for over forty years and we were thrilled that Carole came along to present the trophy. The winner, with 33 Stableford points, was Erica Klim.

Blustery conditions on the course for Saturday’s Presidents’ Bowmaker, but a good turn-out of 33 teams saw a very close competition. First was Mark Stainer, Mark Neighbour and Nick Gumm, with 81 points c/b. Second place was Paul Cullen, Mike McKay and Dietrich Martini with 81 points c/b. Third went to Michael Vincent, Gary Nutt & Stephen Clark with 78 points.

The Men’s Seniors beat Clevedon 4½ – 2½ and now have a record of P3 W2 L1 so far this season.
