The 2018 cricket season may have drawn to a close, but Midsomer Norton Cricket Club have just renewed their sponsorship deal with Norton based solicitors, Thatcher + Hallam, cementing the relationship between the club and a company that has been serving the local community for generations.

Thatcher + Hallam’s generous sponsorship means that the club’s players take to the field in kit bearing the sponsor’s logo, which means that the club looks more professional and well organised. The firm also sponsor one of the awards made at the club’s end of season presentation evening. Thatcher + Hallam partner, George Persson, is delighted at the company’s continuing relationship with the club and is proud of the support provided to the club. He says: “As a local business, what has been particularly pleasing for us has been to see the huge effort that the club puts into the wider community.”

Club Chairman, Graeme King, presented George with a shirt bearing the company logo – and signed by club members – at the company’s offices in Midsomer Norton. “It is great to see such a local club being able to attract so many to the sport, from a thriving children’s section and championship-winning Men’s First team to a highly successful and new Women’s section,” adds George. “The club is a credit to the whole town and we are extremely proud to be associated with Midsomer Norton Cricket Club.”

Graeme King recognises the importance of the deal and thanked George for the continuing support provided by the firm. “The support from, and link with, Thatcher + Hallam is very important to the club. The sponsorship helps the players and the club when they take to the field, but the link with an important local institution like Thatcher + Hallam helps maintain the club’s position in the local community.”
