Manager and player, Lloyd Edgell, and the committee at Radstock Town Football Club have announced they will be going their separate ways, in what was said to be their hardest decision yet.
Lloyd has done a good job in taking on the role when Radstock Town needed stability during the run of a tough campaign in the Premier Division, which saw the side relegated. Lloyd then gave the club a platform to build upon, with the help and guidance from others, during the club's first season in the Toolstation Western League First Division.
However, due to Lloyd's increasing work demands, it means that he can no longer give the job the time which it requires. Lloyd had also been at the club for his twentieth season prior to making the decision – starting as a junior.
The club and the committee would like to thank Lloyd for all his hard work and commitment during his spell as First Team Manager.
It is undecided whether Lloyd will remain at the club as part of the playing staff due to his work commitments. Radstock Town will be making an announcement on who will be taking the club forward in the next few days.
