GT put Paulton under pressure, and managed to get an equaliser just before the end of the first-half, as it was 1-1 at the break.

At the restart, Paulton again pressed high up on the visitors to cause GT to make mistakes, and on 55 minutes, Paulton yet again took the lead by an absolute screamer from 25 yards out from Rhys Cook.

GT had several good chances to get a goal back, but could not find the back of the net as Rovers were defending well.

After 82 minutes, Paulton had free kick from about 25 yards out, taken by Jamie Rothwell, and his great cross into the box came off a GT defender, and ended in the back of the net to make it 3-1 to Paulton.

However, GT managed to get one back on 88 minutes, to make it 3-2.

A good all-round performance from Paulton, up against very strong GT side, which may have been the hardest game off the season so far. However, if Paulton keep playing as they did today, they will be challenging for the league title.
