COLEFORD Athletic continued their strong start to the season with a 5-2 away win over High Littleton to top the Premier Division in the Mid Somerset Football League.
Westfield got off the mark this season with a good win over Evercreech.
Last season’s promoted teams Meadow and Odd Down both enjoyed good wins and Pilton and Frome Town United Reserves were involved in a nine-goal thriller with Pilton winning 5-4.
