Paulton Rovers FC now know their FA Cup Preliminary Round opponents on Saturday, 25th August, when they will be away to Bradford Town, who beat Roman Glass St George 5–2 in the previous round last weekend.
The Youth team played their first pre-season friendly on Monday, at home to Brislington. The well-attended friendly saw Brislington come from behind to win in an entertaining game.
After an even first half, Rovers took the lead on 53 minutes with a slick move involving Tyler Lane, Luke Seviour and Lewis Harrison, which saw the ball laid into Reece Barry to score.
Brislington levelled on 67 minutes as Luke Perks raced on to a though-ball to score. Three minutes later, he put the visitors ahead, cutting from the left to curl in a splendid goal.
Paulton keeper, Jacob Glover, pulled off a great save from Jayden Nelson, but on the stroke of full-time, Nelson was on-hand to round off the win.
