On 6th March, Keynsham Town Reserves welcomed Timsbury Athletic, who both play in the Somerset County League Division One East. With Timsbury in third position and Keynsham fourth, the only thing splitting the teams was a better goal difference to the away side.

The match started well, with both teams having chances, but by half-time, the score was 0–0.

As the second half got underway, there was a goal within ten minutes from the home team. However, Timsbury never gave up, and kept fighting to try and pull the deficit back. Then, in the 80th minute, the referee awarded a penalty to Timsbury – an important time for the away team to get level.

Rhys Cook then stepped up to take the penalty and scored, with the ball going into the left-hand corner of the goalmouth.

The match finished 1–1, with not necessarily the result wanted by either team.
