As The Journal went to press on Tuesday, Paulton Rovers played their third pre-season friendly at home to Melksham Town. (See: www.mnrjournal.co.uk from Wednesday for report).

The final two friendlies are both at home: Tuesday, 1st August against Frome Town, kick-off at 7.30 p.m. and Saturday, 4th August against Welsh League Division One side, Ton Pentre AFC (from the Rhondda Valley), kick-off at 3 p.m.

The Evostik Southern League Division One season kicks off on Saturday, 11th August at home to Slimbridge, kick-off at 3 p.m. On Tuesday, 15th August the team are away at Salisbury, kick-off at 7.45 p.m.

Saturday, 19th August sees the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round away at Plymouth Parkway or Portland United (they meet in the pre-preliminary round on 4th August). In the first round of the Somerset Premier Cup, Paulton have been drawn away to Portishead Town in the week commencing 9th October.
