A sunny, dry-but-cold day saw Radstock Town Res welcome AFC Brislington, who are both in the Somerset County League Division Two.
It was an important game for both teams, with the away team – who are top of the league – twelve points clear of RTFC Reserves before playing, though the home team did have a three-game advantage to pick up on.
Both teams started well, with it being an even game right the way up to half-time; the score 0–0. Within the first minute of the second half, the deadlock broke for Radstock with a goal by Shaun Derrick. The visitors never came back from that; the home team finishing with a valuable three points.
