The first team game at home to Chippenham Town last Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. On Tuesday as The Journal went to press, they were due to entertain Taunton Town in the second round of the Red Insure Southern League Cup.
This Saturday the visitors are Chesham United, kick-off at 3 p.m. The Generals were conquerors of Bristol Rovers in the first round of the FA Cup, beating Paulton 2–0 on the way and feature ex-Pirate, Barry Hayles, as Player Coach.
