Coleford stay top of the Mid-Somerset’s Premier League with a thumping 7–0 win at home to Evercreech; Purnell stay in second place, beating Victoria at Home, 4–1.

Peasedown Albion are third, with a hard fought 2–1 victory over Bath Villa, who have lost their last two games and are in fifth; Pilton are up to fourth, beating Westhill at home, 3–2 and Westfield secure their second win of the season away to High Littleton 9–0.

In the First Division, Weston Bath consolidated their position at the top of the league with a 3–0 victory over sixth placed Wessex, Peasedown Albion Reserves stay second with a 3–0 Away win over bottom team, Clutton Reserves, and Timsbury gain their first win in the league, beating Somer Valley at Home, 3–0.

The Second Division saw Mendip Rangers go top of the league with a home draw, 1–1, against third placed Farrington; Pilton Reserves lost ground, losing 2–0 Away to Saltford Reserves. Frome Collegians Reserves kept their unbeaten record going in the league, beating Timsbury A 3–0. Stoke Rovers are fourth, winning at home 7–0 against Glastonbury Reserves, and Meadow Rangers chalked up their fourth win in the league of the season, beating Coleford Reserves, 6–1.

New team, Haydon Sports, stay top of the Third Division with a good 5–0 win at home against bottom club, Chilcompton United. FC Lantokay are second, beating Westfield A, Away 3–1. Paulton Rovers Reserves hold on to the fourth spot, winning away at Somer Reserves, and Mells continue their impressive start to the season with games in hand on the teams above them, beating Chilcompton A at Home, 4–0. Shepton Reserves are third, wining at Home 4–0 to Evercreech Reserves, who have yet to secure a win in the league this season.

It is going to be an exciting second half to the Mid-Somerset Football League, with all four leagues having many teams in contention to lift the league title.
