Timsbury collected all three points in this Division One East game with a comfortable 5-0 victory, which will unfortunately be remembered for a freak accident to Timsbury midfielder, Liam Craze, which resulted in a 45-minute delay due to a serious leg injury needing hospital treatment.

Timsbury got off to a dream start when, in the third minute, a fine run and pass from Heatley ended with Cook being fouled in the box for a penalty. Cook got up to take the spot kick to make the score 1–0. Surprisingly, this did not deter the home side, and they could have levelled the score when Ableson found himself with only the keeper to beat, but saw his shot fly well over.

Scrivens, in the Timsbury goal, was then called upon to make a fine save from a Cox shot. Cary were making life difficult for the Timsbury defence, but failed to make it count. Then, somewhat against the run of play, Timsbury increased their lead, and a shot on the turn from Ellis Hancock ricocheted to the feet of Bishop, who made no mistake from eighteen yards. Hancock then saw a fierce drive narrowly clear the bar, followed by another effort that just fell wide of the goal, after chipping the keeper when finding himself one-on-one.

The Second half became a repeat of the first, when three minutes in, a fine run and cross from Heatley on the left fell kindly to the feet of Craze on the edge of the box, who calmly picked his spot to make it 3–0. Almost immediately, the game was suspended for the unfortunate Craze. To their credit, both referee and home team were keen to continue the game, if at all possible.

The match resumed after a long delay, with the home side conceding a fourth almost immediately; a long through-ball by Ben Hancock allowed Cook to run free and beat the advancing keeper. Cary were unable to make any impression on the Timsbury defence, which was being expertly marshalled by Ben Hancock. Further chances fell to Blanin and Lutwama before a cross from the right by Cook was turned past his own keeper by the hapless Cary defender to make it 5–0. In the final minute, Scrivens was called upon to make an excellant save from an Owen header, to preserve another clean sheet. Our thoughts go out to Liam, and the club wishes him a speedy recovery.
