This weekend, Jesters played against Dolphins from Crewkerne, the game was well contested throughout with Jesters never giving up.
Dolphins were sharp on the game and pulled away in the first quarter ending 13-7, however, we shouldn’t let this take away from some excellent passages of play by Jesters, especially between Talia and Sam.
The second quarter, Jesters let it slip and Dolphins gained twenty one goals, however, Jesters didn’t let this defeat them, they kept their heads up and didn’t stop fighting.
The third quarter saw plenty of changes within the Jesters team, with Laura swapping ends and going into the GA position.
Dawn was taking plenty of interceptions, aided by Nikki and Becky bringing them down the court.
The fourth quarter was where Jesters’ efforts finally prevailed, with Jesters winning the final quarter by one goal.
Tori and Batanai were relentless in the defence, not letting a single loose ball go.
Laura and Sam had cemented a shooting relationship and scored plenty between them.
A brilliant final quarter for Jesters.
Player of the Match went to Batanai and Opposition’s Player of the Match went to Sam.
