After successfully winning the Somerset League for the fifth consecutive year the juniors from Farrington were for the first time invited to play in the Home Nations' Championships.
The South West qualifying was held at Trethorne in Cornwall against similar league winners from each of the counties.
In very windy and cold conditions the team ran out overall winners by two shots on the day. The team now move on the the National final being held at the end of October from which the winner and runner up then proceed to Spain and represent England against the other home nation countries.
