A team of martial artists from Jamie Woodland's Academy in Radstock, recently took part in a national Open Championships held in Bristol.
The annual tournament invites participants from up and down the country and the standard of competitor is always high. Students took part in displays of weapons, forms and semi-contact fighting.
The Radstock club were once again very successful and took home a huge haul of silverware, including club instructor, Jamie Woodland, who won overall Grand Champion.
Jamie spoke of the group's performance: "Once again, our students have demonstrated a great deal of confidence and determination and represented themselves and the club to the highest standard of respect, discipline and skill. We are very proud of each and every one of our team."
