The Somerset County Ladies team won the S W Counties Championship for the second year running, the event this year being held at Clevedon. With six counties involved and playing a mixture of Singles and Foursomes over three days, this was an excellent achievement and for Mendip made all the more sweet with Club Ladies Captain Elect Aimee Sawyer and 16-year-old Ellen Reakes both featuring for the team and in fact winning four out of their five foursome matches. Very well done girls.
