Congratulations and well done to Norwest Ladies for being the winners of the Wild League 2012. This is a great achievement as we only have sixteen ladies. Winning fourteen out of twenty matches played, we earnt 154 points with Shepton Mallet, runners-up with 149 points and Wyrral Park, third with 147 points.
The Wild League AGM and presentation was well attended with representatives from all eleven league clubs. Captain, Jean Thomas, was presented with the Winner's Shield and a trophy for the club and Jean is also Chairperson on the Wild League Committee for the next season.
A superb buffet was laid on by our ladies with a beautiful cake, kindly made by Nora Holmes in honour of our win.
