A ding dong affair at Winterfield Road saw Paulton maintain their unbeaten run after a lacklustre first half.
Biggleswade left winger, David Hutton, had an early run at the home defence and Jay Davies broke forward, but the ball ran away from him. Rovers' much wanted Jon Davies hit a great cross from the left, which was well held by Waders keeper, Ian Brown. Then Davies was involved in Paulton's next attack, working with Scott Wilson and Mitchell Page to feed Darren Jefferies, whose low tight angle shot from the left was turned by Brown for a corner.
On the half hour, Jefferiers won the ball in midfield and sent Wilson away, only for him to shoot weakly into Brown's hands. Rovers skipper, Scott Brice, linked with Davies and Wilson, only to be thwarted again by the visiting keeper. The second half opened brightly and Wilson brought a fine save around the post by Brown. Rovers took the lead on 53 minutes when Jefferies and Davies interchanged and passed to Wilson, whose shot thundered into the net with a slight deflection.Paulton threatened with the Waders defending well, and when the visitors attacked, they were met with great defending from Shayne Anson partering Brice at the heart of the defence. Kyle Phillips pulled off a couple of fine saves from Josh Beech and on 75 minutes, the lively Hutton levelled, meeting a deep right wing cross from Kyal McNulty to hammer home. Two minutes later, he gave his side the lead as substitute, Ollie Thorne, had a shot saved by Phillips and he was on hand to tuck the ball into the corner of the net.
Paulton were showing they were not giving up their six match unbeaten run when two minutes later, left back, Sam Teale, raced on to a great through ball from Ash Williams to make it 2–2.
With seven minutes left Rovers got what proved to be the winner when Teale again latched on to a through ball from Wiliams and was impeded by right back, Cam Mawer. Davies struck home the penalty, clipping the inside of the post to beat a dispairing Brown.

The First Team versus Frome Town game this Saturday has been postponed. The League have ordered that Truro City and Corby Town will have to replay their game, which was abandoned with ten minutes left after the floodlights failed. They have agreed to a request from Corby that the game be played on a weekend, rather than midweek. Therefore, Frome Town will now travel to Corby on Saturday, instead of 11th April.
With Paulton's Somerset Premier Cup semi-final game at Bath City scheduled for next Tuesday, 24th February, kick-off at 7.45 p.m., the Frome game has been rearranged and will be played at Winterfield Road on Tuesday, 3rd March, kick-off at 7.30 p.m.
