Saturday, 7th March saw Norton Radstock Swimming Club travel by coach to compete in the third round of the Cotswold League against Cwmbran, Academy Burnham and Weston-super-Mare.

With a small and young squad in comparison to other teams, Norton Radstock Swimming Club put in a very good effort.

With team spirits high, they produced eleven personal bests, with two first place finishes from Maisie S in the 25 metre Backstroke and 25 metre Breaststroke.

Sophie J missed an opportunity to break Olympian Stacey Bromley’s (nee Tadd) 22-year club record in the 25 metre Butterfly.

A huge well done to our younger swimmers – Sammy, Ben, Will, Joseph, Cody and Ollie, who all swam above their age groups to secure valuable points for the team.
