Over the past couple of weeks, there has been no league matches, either Mid-Somerset League or Somerset County League, for the Men's section.

However, they did play a friendly against Banwell BC and lost on all four rinks.

We had a visit from Cheshunt Indoor Bowling Tourists Mixed Team, who played us on five rinks. Prattens won on four out of the five rinks and won overall, 87–67.

The Ladies have won two games this week in the Wild League, winning against Wells and taking all twelve points and also winning against Norwest and taking ten points.

The Ladies travelled to Bath to play against Bath Ladies BC in the Fear Cup. This was a very close match and the final score over the three rinks gave Bath a win by one shot. Well done, Ladies for playing so well against tough opposition from Bath.

This week sees the Men back in league matches. Let's hope they can match the Ladies with good results.
