Paulton gained their first back-to-back win, outplaying Dunstable and denting their play-off hopes. Scott Wilson missed a number of opportunities, as Rovers pressed the very experienced home defence.

Dave Moli, the ex-Wolves player, hit the post, but it was Paulton who had the best chances. They went ahead on 25 minutes, Brandon Barnes found Mitchell Page, who gave himself space to shoot past Luke Chambers. Ashley Williams and Dean Evans were running midfield and Wilson blasted over, wasting another good chance.

On the stroke of half-time, Williams passed to Barnes, laid to Page, who chested into the path of Wilson, his shot was blocked and fell to Darren Jefferies, whose strike was superbly saved by Chambers.

Scott Brice and Jordy Nkunga defended wonderfully as Moli and substitute, Jamele Mackenzie-Lowe, pushed

forward, with the latter having three shots blocked and Stuart Tovey headed one off the line. Barnes cut in from the left and Wilson's shot was well tipped over by Chambers. From the corner, left back, David Lynn, headed off the line from Page's header.

Paulton deservedly made it 2–0 in the 84th minute, as Barnes ran onto Williams' pass, outpaced the defence, hit the post and from the rebound, tucked the ball into the empty goal.
