High Littlelens' Football Club, the youth teams for High Littleton, had their first Under-10s home game in the league against Westfield on Sunday, 6th October.
HLFC has been running for twelve weeks and has had a great response from children coming to training sessions, with new footballers coming every week.
The club invited Bristol City Football Club to attend the match and their Development Officer for the Community Trust, Vicky Barlow, took part in a Health Session with the Under-6 team during the day. Also present for the game was Tom Moon of Tor Multimix, who have sponsored the kit for the High Littleton team.
Their first league match saw the Westfield youth team victorious, but HLFC were proud of their achievements and played their best.
HLFC would like to thank Sainsbury's, Halfords, Tesco, Frankie and Bennies at Longwell Green, Rose Crafts, the Old Station Inn and the Positive Living Centre for providing raffle donations and support.
