Local majorette troupe, Stardust, held their annual presentation evening at Paulton Rovers’ Winterfield Suite on 1st February.

It was a great turnout with many members and their families coming along to take part and enjoy the celebrations. Awards were presented to all the girls for their achievements during 2019. Special thanks were also given to all the adults that help keep things running and make Stardust the successful team it is.

The main awards of the night were won by Tash Ping for Most Committed Pee Wee, Poppy Clifford for Most Committed Juvenile and Sophie Byers for Most Committed Senior.

Our very special Wendy Selway Memorial Shield was awarded to Sophie Clark for her overall commitment and per- formance to the team.

Becky Doman, the Troupe Leader, said she was very proud of all of the majorettes and what they had achieved during 2019, and that she is very much looking forward to another successful season in 2020, with the club going from strength to strength, with now over forty members!
