West of England Metro Mayor Dan Norris will be celebrating his own birthday in January, so is excited to be receiving his very own Birthday Bus Month Pass.

With Birthday Buses, everyone in the West of England can enjoy unlimited free travel on buses across the region throughout the month of their birthday.

The Mayor is urging others in the region with January birthday months and beyond to sign up to his “Birthday Buses” scheme at www.birthdaybus.co.uk.

Dan Norris said he “can’t wait” to take advantage of his ticket to ride unlimited free bus and WESTlink journeys across the West’s 350-plus square mile network.

He said: “I’m proud of Birthday Buses - it’s a serious plan to get new passengers using our buses to help tackle the climate emergency and create a more sustainable bus network. It’s working as close to half of people who’ve used Birthday Buses say they're more likely to use public transport in future. It’s also a great boon in this cost-of-living crisis.

“So for those with birthdays coming up who haven’t done so already please head to www.birthdaybus.co.uk today."

People can still apply up to the 15th, and get a Birthday Month Bus Pass for the remainder of the month.
