Radstock and Midsomer Norton Lions helped restock the Curo Pantry Food Bank, which operates from Welton Vale Community Room on a Tuesday between 10am and 1pm, where families and anyone in need can purchase bags of shopping for £3.

Lions’ Margaret Burdon and Lyn Haile went out for a supermarket sweep and purchased £230 of goods to restock the pantry.

Emma Newman, Curo Regional Customer Account Manager, and Jo Forrest, Curo Customer Account Manager, were delighted when the goods were dropped off as the pantry has, on occasions, run out of food and had to turn people away which is heartbreaking.

Lions are pleased to help out this hardworking team responding to local need.
