Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after a seventeen-year-old boy was attacked while walking to college.

The assault happened in Avon Street sometime between 1 p.m. and 1.20 p.m. on Wednesday last week (10th January).

The teenager was walking from McDonald’s towards the college when he was punched from behind and severely beaten on the floor. He was attacked by five men, aged between 18–20. They searched his pockets, but thankfully didn’t get away with anything.

The group were wearing tracksuits, which were mostly black, with a white stripe, although one had a red stripe. The males were either blonde or brown-haired.
