Whisty Hall in Radstock hosted a Christmas Fayre last Sunday (12th December) which started at 2 pm.

This was the first Christmas Fayre to be held at the hall for several years and it was all due to Sara of Sara’s Books.

Sara had not only organised and taken the bookings for the stalls, but she donated the proceeds from the stallholders’ charges, the raffle and the refreshments to Whisty Community Association in support of the running of the hall.

The afternoon proved to be very successful with about 24-26 tables in total with a variety of stallholders which included Usborne Books, Cats Protection, Deci wreaths, Christmas silk flower table decorations, personalised items and many more, plus a raffle. Refreshments of teas, coffees, cold drinks, cakes and snacks were also available.

The Trustees of Whisty Community Association would like to thank Sara for organising the event together with the generous offer of the donation and look forward to working with Sara again next year.
