There are exciting times ahead for the Anglican communities of Westfield and Radstock!
Since the retirement of Revd. David Izzard in June, St Nicholas’ Church has been without a vicar. From 2022, the Parishes of St Peter’s Westfield and St Nicholas’ Radstock will join together to form “The Waterside Benefice” under the leadership of Revd. Ian Rousell, who is currently the vicar of St Peter’s.
This will necessitate a change of service times in both churches – so from the first Sunday in Advent – 28th November, the main service at St Peter’s will begin at 9.30 am and at St Nicholas’ at 11.15 am. Both churches will have a service of Holy Communion on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, St Peter’s will have their popular FC service on the first Sunday and St Nicholas’ their equally popular Café Church on the third Sunday. On the other Sundays of the month there will be non- Communion services. Midweek Communion at St Peter’s will remain unchanged – Thursdays at 10 am.
Christmas is fast approaching and our Christmas services are as follows:
St Peter’s, Westfield:
• 12th December 4pm Christingle Service
• 19th December 6.30 pm Carol Service
• Christmas Eve 2.30 pm Crib Service, 11.30 pm Midnight Communion

• 19th December 11.15 am Christingle Service

Both churches extend a warm welcome to everyone at any of their services. For further information please see our Facebook pages or contact Revd. Ian Rousell on: 01761 417664. Lynne Waton (Churchwarden, St. Peter’s Westfield)
