Midsomer Norton Methodist Church Hall enjoyed its first breakfast and Easter activities recently.
A wide menu greeted our guests and we had a truly full house. After breakfast came activities – making Easter baskets, chocolate cornflake nests with eggs, paint printing and more!
Suddenly the hall was empty as everyone rushed into the church for an Easter egg hunt! Then back to a prayer trail with ‘scratchy’ black crosses which revealed beautiful colours, dissolving prayer tablets and an Easter garden in which to place a picture of yourself.
The whole morning was so enjoyable and well supported that it may have been the first breakfast meeting, but it certainly won’t be the last!
Meanwhile, there will be the usual Messy Church on Saturday, 6th May, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Everyone welcome!
