The Open Day at Westfield Allotments last Sunday, 16th July was a great success and well attended by local residents. Lots of interest was shown in the raised beds for children, the new project on site, which will encourage local children to enjoy growing fruit and vegetables.

The Chair of B&NES Council, Cherry Beath, planted a tree to commemorate the opening, pictured with Geoff Fuller (right), Chair of Westfield Parish Council, and members of the Allotment Committee.
