Last summer, twenty-year-old Jenny Rose Sell was tragically killed in a road-traffic collision in Midsomer Norton as she drove home to Clutton.
Following her passing, friends and family have spent recent months raising funds to have a rose cultivated in her memory. They have already raised an incredible £10,000 through GoFundMe donations, event nights and the sale of knitted and crocheted roses, which are being handmade as a legacy to Jenny.
Jenny’s close friends said: “We would like to thank everyone for donating so far. We have raised the amount required for rose cultivation, but we aim to continue to sell the knitted and crocheted roses as a legacy for Jen. Any money made from this point forward will be given to a charity of the family’s choice, most likely supporting young adults with autism.
“Those closest to Jen have been completely overwhelmed by the support we have received by local businesses and individuals alike. We would really like the opportunity to thank these people.”
