Midsomer Norton Town Council have agreed to pursue the idea of a tree being planted in the Town Park’s Sensory Garden in memory of Captain Sir Tom Moore.
At the Somer Centre car park, alligator teeth have been installed to help combat long-term anti-social behaviour. A mosquito unit and CCTV camera has also been installed in the area. Councillors also heard at the bi-monthly full meeting that the Leisure Centre skatepark has now been completely fenced off by B&NES Council, after police were called out to speak to members of the public using it, despite Government restrictions.
