After their summer break, the Somer Valley Singers were happy to welcome their new pianist, Sarah Gilliam.

Sarah was originally a choir member, but took last year out to pursue other activities and is now pleased to be back in a new role.

The choir, however, is not losing the talents of their former accompanist, Gay Pullom. Gay will still be performing at Choir concerts and leading the sing-a-longs at visits to Care Homes.

Ladies, do you enjoy singing? Would you like to sing with a friendly and fun Ladies’ Choir?

The Somer Valley Singers invite you to our ‘Come & Try It’ evening at the Somer Centre, Gullock Tyning, Midsomer Norton, BA3 2UH on Thursday, 26th September, from 7.15 p.m. to 9 p.m.

We sing a wide range of music; from Broadway hits through to popular songs and light classical works. We are looking to recruit members of all ages who love to sing. You may have sung with a choir or group before, but you do not need any previous experience and there are no auditions. We would love to help you turn your singing for pleasure into our singing for pleasure.

So... Come along and give it a try! Singing is good for your health!
